Music from the Movies Your Kids Love

Ok — we all love Pixar movies, and this is a symphony performance that younger music lovers will enjoy as much as the parents! Pixar (home base across the Bay in Emeryville!) is known for master storytelling — and their instrumental scores are a huge part of the drama, thrill and joy they deliver.

This Pixar matinee is part of the Symphony’s summer Film presentations,
featuring the Orchestra performing the movie score live while the films are projected onto a large screen above the stage. On July 23 & 24, Sarah Hicks conducts Pixar in Concert, featuring selections from Pixar films including A Bug’s Life, Brave, Cars, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Inside Out, Monsters, Inc., Monsters University, Ratatouille, Toy Story, and Wall-E.
