Presidio Tunnel Tops’ new art installation: SUPERBLOOMS

Join the Presidio Tunnel Tops for an exciting day of music, art-making, and chill vibes in celebration of Tosha Stimage’s new art installation, SUPERBLOOMS. Come out to the park and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with the Golden Gate Bridge as your backdrop and take part in a creative environment, building community and exploring the vibrant world of plants and flowers. 

SUPERBLOOMS is a large-scale ground mural that champions the resilient histories of three Presidio native plants: the Chilean strawberry, California poppy, and the Checkerbloom.  

This third installation of the Ancestral Futurism Public Art Mentorship program invites emerging and mid-career BIPOC artists to develop temporary installations at the Presidio Tunnel Tops.  

Activities Include:

• Hands on art activities for all ages!  

• A living floral Installation   

• Free plant starters
